One of the students from The Choney Podcast had an idea to do a sports podcast that was directed towards sports with a focus on Joplin High’s teams. He came up with the name, logo idea, and colors. He knew exactly how he wanted it to look. So after several tries I came up with what I thought he was seeing in his head. It must’ve been because this became the logo.

Benchwarmers was an awesome podcast and the students did very well with it. They would interview student athletes about their careers, what it was like to play the sport, or sports, they played, and what they planned on doing after school. It actually became the most popular show on JHS Eagle Radio, much to the chagrin of my 5th hour with “A Flock of Eagles”. Nothing like some healthy competition right?
